Announcing the Innovation, Crafts and Creators Youth Program (Ukraine)

ATHENS, GREECE - July 30, 2024 - The Roerich Institute of Technology (“RIT”) with the support and partnership of the National Youth Council of Ukraine (“NYCU”) and its organisation members inclusive of the NGO “Ukrainian Alliance”, hereby announces the fully funded ROERICH Innovation, Crafts and Creators Youth Program for Ukraine to support in a tangible way the young individuals in Ukraine who wish to promote themselves and the value they create for society.

The Youth Program aims to become a roadmap for the creation of reliable self-employed income for young people engaged in any form of crafts, content creation and innovation by way of fostering demand in Europe, whereas for the aforementioned engagements to be exported and purchased in Europe. Any citizen of Ukraine who has not reached their 40th birthday is eligible for the Youth Program.

The Founder of RIT, HSH Michail Roerich-Kolpidis, said on the matter;

“It is very possible that most can live and do what they love, practice their chosen craft, and sell the product of that craft as exports, meaning that potentially we could have many producers engaging in sustainable economic activity and contributing to society.”

The Youth Program revenue generating opportunities are made up of direct and indirect monetisation. Direct monetisation refers to listing of products (physical or digital) for sale on the Commonwealth markets integrated ROERICH Marketplace. Indirect monetisation refers to the promotion of professionals and of the listed services that they offer, for which various platforms will be established and announced.

Basically, the Youth Program funds the creation of demand for the aforementioned listed items, funds benefits like free Prime tariff on Commonwealth markets integrated networks and platforms (for example ROERICH Marketplace) and provides beneficial exclusive arrangements for banking and logistics within Europe.

In the case of direct monetisation, participants of the Youth Program will receive the lion share of revenue of 80%, with the rest being broken down as follows; Commonwealth standard 7% platform fee that includes everything (as per Prime tariff terms) except initial delivery to any ROERICH facilities (where applicable), a retained fund of 3% that will be spent on additional marketing for those young individuals who get a lower response from the markets, and a 10% public fund that will form contributions to NYCU as a declared act of foreign financial support to the youth for allocation by collective decision in any way that promotes youth opportunities excluding military and humanitarian related expenses.
